Drawing on national and international expertise, ECA has developed the landmark Statement on Play, which underscores the universal right to play for every child, regardless of age, ability or background. ECA’s Statement on Play resources highlight the essential role of early childhood educators and teachers in fostering and supporting play, and equips families, educators and community members with the knowledge and tools to create and sustain rich play opportunities for all children, while addressing and removing barriers to play.
