This A1 poster was developed by the ECA Central Coast Regional Network in partnership with the local community to support the early learning of Darkinjung language, specific to the Central Coast region of New South Wales. Featuring artwork by Jakeob Watson, the poster includes visual prompts with Darkinjung translations to encourage conversations with children and support educators in using local language. Created in consultation with Sharon Buck, who completed the inaugural Darkinjung language programme, the resource reflects respect for Country and cultural knowledge.
Please note: This poster illustrates some words in Darkinjung language from Darkinjung country in the Central Coast region of New South Wales.
