Description
Dr Jennifer Cartmel is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health Sciences and Social Work at Griffith University. Her expertise spans the early and middle childhood periods, and she has an extensive professional network across policy and practice in children’s services.
Jennifer’s work focuses on critical reflection as both a research approach and a tool for professional development. She leads research projects that contribute to the professionalisation of the school-age care workforce. She also works closely with state governments and peak associations, helping them deepen their understanding of outside school hours care services.
