This course explains how educators can build and strengthen partnerships with the communities in which they work and live. It includes reading materials, self-reflection activities and a three-part video interview with the nominated supervisor of an early childhood education and care service. The course also addresses the role of diversity in creating collaborative community partnerships, with a particular focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Description

Judy Radich is an early childhood educator with a long history of working with young children in preschool and long day care. She is passionate in providing environments that support educators to do their job well, where children have opportunities to explore the natural world in planned and opportunistic ways.
