Professor Andrea Nolan
Andrea Nolan is a Professor of Early Childhood Education at Deakin University. She has extensive experience teaching in early childhood settings, primary schools, TAFE and the university sector. Andrea has conducted research at the state, national and international level, on topics such as early childhood education and care workforce capabilities and the professional learning of educators. She is currently working in partnership with Gowrie Victoria on social and emotional learning.
Karen Bonson
Karen Bonson is an Early Childhood Teacher at Gowrie Victoria’s Docklands Early Learning Centres. In 2015, the centres were awarded an ‘Excellent’ rating from the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority, partly in recognition for ‘positive workplace culture, organisational values and leadership opportunities’.
