The Working in Intercultural Ways program is for all educators at any stage of their reconciliation and cultural responsiveness journey. It is also for those who want to continue or renew and rediscover knowledge on their reconciliation journey, individually or as part of their service team.

There are two courses in the Working in Intercultural Ways program.

  • Working in intercultural ways: Relational perspectives
  • Working in intercultural ways: Practical perspectives

Description

This unique collaboration between the ECA Learning Hub and Koori Curriculum focuses on intercultural approaches, prioritising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educator voices from around Australia.

Within these two courses, you will explore resources, stories and practical strategies to guide cultural responsiveness and reconciliation through both a relational and a practical lens.

Each course presents diverse perspectives, with an emphasis on practical implementation and reflection. Case studies and interviews showcase and offer a range of viewpoints to consider and unpack, encouraging thoughtful and ethical approaches to reconciliation and community connections.

Explore resources to support and unpack Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and culture through an ethical decision-making lens, providing safe spaces and inclusive environments.
