$110.00$99.00 Member Price

The 6Rs Framework is a practical, clear method of supporting young children that is about seeing all behaviour as communication. This comprehensive program equips you with a practical and clear plan for supporting children through times of challenge or stress. Learn to recognise the factors that contribute to children’s behaviour so you can cater your responses to the unique needs of the children in your care. Based on the latest research into brain development, the 6Rs Framework empowers you with a pathway for responding to behaviour that builds children’s resilience and self-regulation.

This program is divided into four courses:

  • Introducing behaviour guidance and the 6Rs Framework
  • Relationships and Respect
  • Regulation and Routes
  • Responses and Research

Description

You will be introduced to the 6Rs Framework, which provides the overarching structure for the program. The 6Rs collectively speak to the importance of understanding why. You will learn why minimising environmental challenges can provide children with opportunities to develop resilience and to stay calm and in control; why support for children hinges on us being aware of children’s unique triggers; and why intentional play-based pedagogies, child choice and opportunities for planning and problem-solving are essential components of effective early learning environments.
